Ntataise FETC:ECD level 4 training programme
The year began with Ntataise Director, Puleng Motsoeneng providing a workshop for trainers to review the assessment criteria for the Ntataise FETC: ECD level 4 training programme and in particular the changes made to the Exit Level Outcomes. The trainers found the workshop eye opening and excellently presented.
Alice Chomane faciliatated this workshop in Masakane Mpumalanga and further facilitated a full orientation to the Ntataise FETC:ECD Core modules for Limpopo Network Trainers who had not yet been fully orientated in the training programme. The feedback from the trainers was that they found it empowering and it assisted them in understanding the linking of the new Exit Level Outcomes with the Unit Standard and the Critical Cross-Field Outcomes.

Puleng also led an Orientation Training Course in Orkney, giving practitioners an introduction to Level 4 training. The training was hosted at the Lesedi La Bana Pre-School in the Kanana Township. The students enjoyed the training which they believed enhanced their knowledge and changed their attitude towards childhood development. They especially felt that the training better equipped them to deal with children with special learning needs and how to implement an inclusive programme.
